Auctioneer, Jerry Floyd, has been actively engaged in the foodservice industry since age fifteen. He went from working in his family’s restaurant to later owning several different restaurants and convenience stores to later selling foodservice equipment. Because of his familiarity with foodservice equipment, during the late eighties, he appraised foodservice establishments for GE Capital and Transamerica which included videotaping and written reports.
He has had about five years of experience working with Wal-Mart in liquidating their bakery and meat market equipment during the late nineties to 2003. He has worked with companies such as Target, Pizza Hut, Brinker, WholeFoods in liquidating some of their used equipment.
In 2004, wanting to expand his abilities to liquidate client’s assets by the best possible method, Jerry attended auction school and acquired his Texas auctioneer’s license. He, along with his wife, Patricia, and auctioneer son, Brad, are presently engaged in growing their auctioneer and appraisal business and now have expanded into the real estate industry.
